ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION (ACHP)/ Section 106 An agency created by the National Historic Preservation Act in 1966. This site contains the preservation review process mandated by Section 106 training and educational sources, publications, case law and program contacts. HERITAGE PRESERVATION SERVICES Part of the National Park Service, this site contains information on Secretary's Standards, the rehabilitation tax credit program, Certified Local government program, publications and also Preservation Briefs. HISTORIC AMERICAN BUILDING SURVEY & HISTORIC AMERICAN ENGINEERING RECORD (HABS/HAER)The HABS/HAER help the US archive American architecture in various contexts. A complete set of documentation includes measured drawings, large-format photographs, and written history.
