On May 11th, Principal Michael Garavaglia and Preservation Services Manager Becky Urbano represented Garavaglia Architecture at a celebration with the Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation at Ridgewood Ranch for the unveiling of the Seabiscuit Stamped Envelope. The commemorative stamp went on sale a couple days ago by the US Postal Service. The stamp portrays a scene from the famous 1938 match race between Seabiscuit and War Admiral. 37th Annual Meeting of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works
Garavaglia Architecture, Inc.’s Preservation Services Manager, Becky Urbano, will be attending the 37th Annual Meeting of The American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) titled Conservation 2.0 New Directions. The annual meeting will be held in Los Angeles, CA, May 19-22, 2009. Becky holds a membership in the Architecture Group and has been an active member for many years. The nomination of Garavaglia Architecture’s Principal Michael Garavaglia as the Vice President of Programs was confirmed at the 2009 Annual California Preservation Conference in Palm Springs.
