Dea Bacchetti Dea Bacchetti is a marketing professional with over eight years of experience serving the A/E/C industry with the last three years providing marketing services to the preservation community. Her early marketing career was spent working with a Construction Management consulting firm serving exclusively the public sector. This experience has given her deep understanding of the public clients and their needs. Drawing on her previous career as an archaeologist in both the New York Tri-state area and in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ms. Bacchetti has devoted the last three years to marketing for the preservation architecture and planning community. Successful marketing efforts have ranged from large-scale public projects with clients such as the State of California, City and County of San Francisco and numerous local municipalities to working with individual homeowners to assist them in navigating the preservation compliance process.
Her previous career as an archaeologist has given her a unique understanding of historic and cultural preservation and a respect for the built environment. Ms. Bacchetti's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from New York University with Academic Honors. During her career as an archaeologist, she has authored and co-authored numerous archaeological field reports and site records currently on file at the Northwest Information Center located at Sonoma State University. Professional affiliations include Society of Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS) San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, Membership Committee; Oakland Heritage Alliance, Vice President; and California Preservation Foundation, member. She is also the past Secretary for the Historic Preservation of Glen Alpine Springs, South Lake Tahoe.
